English Speech Contest
Theme: opportunities often come disguised as hard work
Time: 16:30～18:00, 28th August
Place: the Academic Hall
I’m writing to sincerely invite you to take part in the coming English Speech Contest in our school next week as a judge.
The contest, with the theme of “opportunities often come disguised as hard work” this year, is an annual activity of our school. It will be held from 16:30 to 18:00 on 28th August in Academic Hall, where you often give us lectures. Since your lectures have been gaining great popularity among students, I’m fully convinced that your presence as a judge will surely make both the participants and audience happy. By the way, I also hope you can spare some time to instruct the participants how to deliver a successful speech.
I’ d really appreciate it if you can accept my invitation. I’m looking forward to your reply.
